In partnership with AfroKC and the International African American Art Museum of Kansas City, this exhibit brings together stunning textile work and original Artwork that celebrates the richness of African and Afro-diasporic culture. Visitors will experience rare and dynamic pieces of visual art, Fabrics and Fashion that tells generational stories of identity, resistance, and beauty, woven across continents and carried forward through creativity.
Artwork from the International African American Art Museum of Kansas City will be on display, offering a unique lens into the African American experience through curated visual narratives and bold expressions of cultural pride.
